Welcome! We're Shah and Zayn, founders of your trusted auto body shop. Our journey began with dirty hands, late nights, and a shared passion for cars. We didn't start behind a desk—instead, we were right there in the garage, restoring and repairing cars ourselves. Those early days taught us the value of precision, dedication, and honest craftsmanship.
Today, even though our tools and team have grown, the spirit remains the same. Every car that rolls into our shop receives the same care and attention we'd give our own vehicles. Your vehicle has been in a collision, now what?
Get answers to common questions about auto body repair after an accident
- Stay calm, if the accident was with another motorist, exchange insurance information.
- Call SSR Autobody at (800) 438-2808 and provide us with your vehicle details (make,model,year), the type of damage incurred, your insurance company and if you have a deductible. WE ACCEPT ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES.
- If the vehicle is drive-able bring it over to SSR Autobody, we have two locations in Orange County, CA (Irvine & Orange).
- If the vehicle is not driveable, don't worry we can get a tow truck out your way.
- Once the vehicle is with us we will perform an initial inspection and you will notify your insurance company that the vehicle has been dropped off at "SSR Autobody" (1712 Langley Ave Irvine, CA or 570 W Freedom Orange, CA).
- Within 2-3 business days your insurance company will send out an adjuster to take a look at the vehicle for damages and approve the repairs. Generally, with the insurance's proper cooperation, we are able to turn around most collision repairs within 2-3 weeks. We keep you up to date on the progress of your vehicle each step of the way until it is finished!

In the state of California, YOU have the right to choose a repair facility of your choice.
Insurance companies often try to direct customers to their preferred shops for cost reasons, but this is not required by law.
Here's what California legislation says:

Insurance policies usually cover two types of damage: collision and comprehensive.
COMPREHENSIVE:
This type of damage generally will not increase your premium. It covers situations out of your control, including:
• Windshield or glass damage
• Hitting an animal (e.g., deer)
• Storm damage (wind, hail, flood)
• Vandalism or theft (police reports may be required)
COLLISION:
Premiums may go up only if you are found to be over 49% at fault.
• Insurance companies assess fault.
• If not at fault, you won’t pay your collision deductible.
• If found not at fault after paying the deductible, you will be reimbursed.
Collision includes:
• Colliding with another vehicle
• Sliding into objects on ice
• Pothole damage

Starting the process is simple:
1. Bring your vehicle in for an initial inspection.
2. We’ll walk you through opening a claim with your insurance company.
Most insurance policies cover rental cars for 15-30 days.
If your policy includes a rental, we will coordinate with Enterprise Rent-A-Car™ to pick you up and get you into a rental—no Uber or Lyft needed!
